Who We Are
We invite musicians of grade 8 standard and above to play with the LCO. As far as possible we seek to give as many musicians of the required standard the opportunity to play.
The orchestra is fixed on a concert-to-concert basis. We do not audition potential players and do not ask for any subscription payment. However we ask players to operate under the informal terms laid out in our Players Charter.

We are frequently looking for more string players and more specialist instruments. Opportunities for popular wind instruments are more limited, but regular opportunities are available to dep.
